Hospital Facilities for Clinical Teaching for Pharmacy Students

 
RAKCOPS will use the facilities of Sheikh Saqr hospital and Ibrahim Bin HamadObaidullah hospitals in Ras Al Khaimah for teaching and training of the students, in addition to the various primary health centers available in Ras Al Khaimah under the ambit of RAK Medical Zone.

Pharmacy students will participate in ward rounds with medical, nursing and other students in third year and fourth year..

Sheikh Saqr Hospital has bed capacity of 278 and has consultants who have terminal degrees and the remaining are general practitioners. All the surgical specialties, General Surgery, Urology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Oto-rhino-laryngology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Pediatrics are located in the hospital.

All the medical specialties, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Respiratory and Chest Medicine, and Cardiology are located in Ibrahim Bin HamadObaidullah Hospital.
