GRADE POINT FOR THEORY = GP OF CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT (A) + GP OF END CLINICAL YEAR THEORY EXAMINATION (C) GRADE POINT FOR OSCE = GRADE POINT OF GP OF EACH CLERKSHIP ROTATIONS (B)+GRADE POINT OF OSCE (D) GRADE POINTS OBTAINED IN THEORY IN MID CLINICAL YEAR (50%) AND END CLINICAL YEARS (50%) IN THE YEAR III/IV/V WILL BE TAKEN AS FINAL GRADE POINT FOR THE RESPECTIVE CLINICAL YEAR GRADE POINTS OBTAINED IN EACH CLINICAL ROTATION (50%) AND IN OSCE OF END CLINICAL ROTATION (50%) WILL BE TAKEN AS FINAL GRADE POINT FOR THE RESPECTIVE CLINICAL YEAR


Assessment of Internship:

The intern shall maintain a record of work which is to be verified and certified by the medical officer/ consultant under whom he/she works. Apart from scrutiny of the record of work, assessment and evaluation of training shall be undertaken by an objective approach using situation tests in knowledge, skills and attitude, during and at the end of training. Based on the record of work and date of evaluation, the Dean shall issue a certificate of satisfactory completion of training, following which the University shall award the MBBS degree or declare him/her eligible for it.

Satisfactory completion shall be determined on the basis of the following:
