Librarian's Message

Welcome to RAK MHSU Library, established in 2006 as learning resource centre. It aims to offer effective services to its users to fulfill their learning needs in the field of Medical and Health Sciences through its user friendly & state of the art facilities. Keeping in view of the needs of current and future user, we are maintaining an International Standard Documentation (ISD) and National Library of Medicine (NLM) Classification and Cataloguing system. We also have electronic resources related to Medical & Health Sciences such as Proquest and Micromedex.

 

This library is supporting the Academic Programmes of Medical, Pharmacy, Dental and Nursing as well as the General Education through its collection and service, to enable the students and faculty to utilize the Information Resources of the Library more effectively.

I am happy to see in a short span of five years our library growing from strength to strength. I feel proud to know that this Library is one of the best Library in the UAE in the field of Medical and Health Sciences.

We, at RAK MHSU Learning Resource Centre always strive to provide better services and facilities to support the University Teaching, Learning and Research activities.
