About Us

Why CEDAR?

We strongly believe that the quality of future health care professionals is directly dependent on their educational experience during their undergraduate years. We realize that medical education is not completed, at the medical school, it only begins. We would like our graduates to become lifelong learners with effective communication, problem solving and self-directed learning skills. This is not possible without the help and guidance of a committed and well informed faculty. The faculty thus needs to b prepared to adapt to these changes. They need to be updated with the latest developments in the field of medical education especially in curricular strategies, teaching-learning modalities, planning and definition of the learning outcomes and most importantly in designing and conducting valid, reliable and appropriate assessments.

It was with these objectives in mind, the CEDAR was created to enable smooth and effective implementation of the institution’s educational vision and mission.
