Congratulations for choosing RAK College of Dental Sciences to pursue your career in dentistry. The College is an integral part of the RAK Medical and Health Sciences University (RAK MHSU)  which also offers degree courses in Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing.

At the RAK College of Dental Science, emphasis is on comprehensive oral care and community based preventive dental programs. The College has a diverse, highly qualified, experienced and friendly international academic staff. The physical resources at RAK College of Dental Sciences are modern and up to date.

The College has received initial accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the United Arab Emirates. Prior to receiving the accreditation, the curriculum of the College has undergone a thorough and critical review by the international experts who also carried out site visits on the invitation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research UAE. This accreditation status ensures top quality education and compliance with international standards.

Of the five year BDS program, students spend the first two and half years in the general education, basic medical science and pre clinical dental science departments. This training is currently offered at the RAK MHSU Campus at Buriarat, Ras Al Khaimah. In 2009, the College will move to its new well equipped 7 storied building that will house both basic dental sciences departments and a dental hospital with modern specialist clinics. The College and the RAK Medical and Health Sciences University provide access to well stocked library, patient simulation laboratories, computer laboratories and other learning resources. In addition, students are provided with counseling services, accommodation and facilities for sports activities
